PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:     

Delivering exceptional spa experiences to guests by providing high-quality treatments such as manicures, pedicures and waxing as well as all body treatments such as massage in professional manner while supporting the overall operations of the spa facility.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 and ITEC or CIDESCO certificate in Somatology, Cosmetology or Aesthetician
• A Formal Beauty Therapy Qualifications (Diploma) will be an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ beauty therapist experience in a 5- or 4-star hotel or premium spa environment
• Various massage & beauty therapy techniques
• Computer Literacy

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Welcoming SPA guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Responsible for all facials, massages, and all other treatment offerings.
• Explain SPA offerings to guests and make recommendations.
• Record and maintain adequate notes about client visits.
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each client.
• Respond to guest emails and telephones in a timely manner.
• Handle guest complaint promptly and in a professional manner.
• Identifies Spa promotions with the General Manager and inform all relevant parties.
• Responsible for monthly Spa Stock take and reporting thereof.
• Responsible for all health and safety requirement of therapy and treatments.
• Ensure hygiene and safety at the SPA
• Consistently implement new spa treatment and products.
