PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To lead and supervise the services & team in the assigned Deli Operations to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experience and the financial profitability of the business.

KEY JOB OUTPUTS:

  • Oversee front-of-house activities, workflow, cleanliness, and service standards during operating hours.
  • Prepare and manage duty rosters, monitor attendance, allocate work evenly, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints professionally, and ensure consistent quality service aligned with the Hartlief Guest Experience Journey.
  • Conduct shift briefings, ensure effective communication, and provide staff with guidance for smooth operations.
  • Oversee cashiering, billing, and cash-up procedures in line with SOPs.
  • Drive upselling, product knowledge, and innovative strategies to achieve revenue targets and improve average spending.
  • Monitor usage, reduce wastage, conduct stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly), and control expenses.
  • Maintain and enforce F&B SOPs, grooming standards, presentation guidelines, and service consistency.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, liaise with maintenance, and track outstanding issues.
  • Support induction, on-the-job training, performance coaching, and ongoing skills development.
  • Promote breakthrough behaviors, company values, and create positive employee workplace experience.
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks, enforce food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards.
  • Check daily forecasts, menus, and function sheets to ensure ready-made service.
  • Keep Deli Manager and Head chef informed of guest feedback, complaints, and operational improvements.
  • Attend meetings, cover relief duties when needed, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • 3 years’ experience in Hospitality industry with 2-year supervision experience.
  • Computer literate (MS Office/Office/Excel/PowerPoint)
