PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To perform the overall operations within the department by implementing the required standards and provide excellent customer service for the profitability of the store. To perform sales functions within the department and attend to customer inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- National Senior Level Certificate.
- Customer services and/or retail experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Collect stock from store-rooms and pack on shelves according to set standards.
- Rotate stock continuously and store it safely according to FIFO principle.
- Place correct price stickers on products as per set standards.
- Render a speedy and effective service to customers.
- Assist customers with enquiries and queries on stock and application/use of products and prices.
- Prepare and attend to stock takes as scheduled.
