PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To provide luxury wellness therapies and treatments as dictated by the spa menu, to our guests, ensuring exceptional service and memorable spa experiences.  Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Grade 12 plus Higher Certificate
• ITEC or CIDESCO Diploma in Somatology, Cosmetology or Aesthetician.
• SAAHSP will be an added advantage
• 2 years’ Experience in all treatments provided at the SPA.
• Knowledge of various massage / beauty therapy techniques
• Product Knowledge in SpaGuru and Micros

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Deliver a personalized experience with commercial success whilst representing the spa in a professional and hospitable way.
• Consult guest to determine their specific needs, preferences, and any indications for treatments. Listen attentively to guest concerns and provide g recommendations based on their requirements.
• Prepare treatment rooms by arranging necessary equipment, supplies, and products for scheduled treatments.
• Sanitize all equipment and tools before and after each treatment to maintain a clean and hygienic workstation.
• Schedule, change, confirm, and cancel massage reservations accurately.
• Process billing and post charges for spa services accurately.
• Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing, and manicures/pedicures) safely and comfortably.
• Recommend products, treatments, and services to guests, utilizing knowledge of spa menus and products.
• Conduct stock takes monthly.
• Assist with reception duties when required.
