PURPOSE  

To capture, process, and dispatch all damaged, redundant, and expired stock to suppliers, ensuring accurate stock control and minimising losses while supporting efficient warehouse and store operations.  

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 11/12)  

• Minimum 2 years’ retail or receiving experience  

ADVANTAGEOUS 

• Experience in receiving or retail administration  

• Knowledge of ARCH system and stock processes  

• Understanding of invoicing and supplier processes  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Returns (RTM) Processing 

• Receive damaged, expired, or redundant stock and process returns  

• Sort stock according to suppliers and categories 

• Prepare and submit claims to suppliers 

Stock Control & System Management

• Capture stock movements on the ARCH system 

• Transfer stock from sales floor to RTM cage 

• Separate returnable stock from waste 

Documentation & Compliance 

• Maintain accurate records of returns and claims 

• Ensure all documentation is signed and verified 

• Align physical stock with system records 

Dispatching & Coordination

• Prepare returned stock for dispatch to suppliers  

• Verify quantities with drivers and receiving controllers 

• Ensure proper sign-off on all returned goods 

Housekeeping & Safety 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of RTM areas  

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
