PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

To control stock in the distribution centre, receive and dispatch stock and responsible for correct picking and loading process.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Grade 12 certificate, minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in distribution environment 
• Knowledge of cold chain in FMCG environment will be an advantage

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

• Execute receiving of designated stock in conjunction with the Supervisor Cooler
• Execute dispatching of designated daily stock to the factory shop and all other customers
• Do stock rotation when storing, receiving and dispatching stock according to FIFO
• Update the stock file in conjunction with the Supervisor.
• Check all stock picked in units, crates and pallets.
• Receive picking slip and execute picking process until sign-off
• Inspect products before loading in order to prevent damaged stock loaded and delivered to customer
• Check that loading of products is done according to the correct loading configuration.
• Perform daily stock takes and complete & submit stock count sheet
• Housekeeping , Keep designated store area organised and clean at all times
