PURPOSE

To process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth checkout experience and contributing to overall store profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• Minimum 2 years’ cashier experience

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Certificate in Computer Sciences
• Experience in retail/FMCG environments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transaction Processing

• Process all customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure correct handling of cash, card, and other payment methods
• Guarantee that all monies received and returned are correct

Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times
• Create a positive checkout experience for every customer

Cash Control

• Perform cash-ups in line with standard operating procedures
• Maintain accuracy and accountability for all transactions
