POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 2
To ensure the effective delivery of in-room dining services to guests of the hotel in line with brand standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Grade 12.
- 1 year experience in a restaurant operation as a waiter within a 4* or 5* hotel and restaurant practice.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Own and Live the O&L persona, anchored in “caring, passionate, authentic.”.
- Provide personalized guest service based on preferences and ensure an everlasting bond is created with guests.
- Maintain a friendly attitude, welcome, and acknowledge each guest with a smile and a friendly verbal greeting in line with the sequence of service.
- Document orders, repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy, and quote expected arrival time with speed and accuracy.
- Promptly answer room service calls, announce any specials, promote menu items, and answer questions regarding preparation methods.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit cards, and electronic payments as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the duty station before the end of each shift in accordance with the standards.
