PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To manage the overall operation of the Floor department as per the required standards and procedures, to promote and maximize sales and increase customer service to enhance business profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Level Certificate.
• At least 5 years’ experience of which 3 years should be in supervisory role in a Floor & sales environment.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• A Diploma in Business Administration/Retail Management.
• SAP Experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Drive sales to achieve the department’s contribution to the overall budget.
• Manage stock levels through effective monitoring of stock.
• Order and receive stock while following the necessary procedures.
• See to it that appropriate stock is available and prepared timeously.
• Perform opening and closing procedures of the store.
• Check that all hygiene standards are maintained and applied by staff according to standard operational procedures.
• Oversee the functions and work delivery of all reporting staff.
