PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To control the overall operations of the frontline department as per set standards and procedures for service excellence to customers in order to ensure profitability of the store.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Level Certificate - Grade 11 New Curriculum OR Grade 12 Old Curriculum.

• A minimum of 3 years’ advanced Frontline experience in a retail environment.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Supervisory Experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Oversee all frontline transactions as per set policies and procedures.
• See to it that staffs have sufficient money & equipment to carry out cashier functions.
• Assist in physical counting of cashiers’ taking during the cashing –up process.
• Sign off Cash Collection Banking daily.
• See to it that a speedy and effective service is rendered to customers and attend to customer queries.
• See to it that all areas are cleaned and left in hygienic condition at close of business.
• Outline policies, procedures and operational requirements on a regular basis to existing and new appointees.
