PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To control the overall operation of the Hot Pot & Deli department by producing fresh and quality products, maintain hygiene and food safety standards and promote excellent customer service in order to achieve profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- National Senior Level Certificate / Grade 12 Certificate.
- 3 years’ experience in a Hot Pot & Deli department, with exposure to some Supervisory responsibilities.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Prior Supervisory experience.
- Certificate in Basic Cookery/ Food Preparation/ Hospitality/ Catering.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Utilize the available resources effectively to attain monthly budgeted turnover results for the department.
- Drive sales to achieve the department’s contribution to the overall budget.
- Control the overall quality of products and expired stock.
- Submit orders to the Manager and receive stock on time.
- Maintain range availability through effective customer analysis trends as well as proper planning.
- Implement, apply and monitor QDVP4 standards within the whole department.
- Prepare customers’ orders timeously.
- Accountable for the production schedules and determine volumes required.
- Maintain Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards.
