PURPOSE

To prepare high-quality hot and cold beverages according to standard recipes while delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a great café experience and supporting store profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Level Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ Barista or relevant café experience

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Previous barista training
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Experience in customer service or retail environments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare hot and cold beverages according to recipes and standards
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation
• Prepare customer orders accurately and timeously

Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient service
• Assist customers with menu options and product knowledge
• Create a welcoming and engaging café experience

Hygiene & Standards

• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and work areas
• Adhere to food safety and health regulations
• Ensure correct use and maintenance of equipment

Stock & Operations

• Prepare for stock takes and assist as required
• Maintain proper storage and handling of products
