PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

To maintain the relationship between employees, management, and labor unions. To ensure compliance with labor laws, handle workplace disputes, and create policies that promote a fair and productive work environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Degree in Human Resources Management/Employee Relations or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years in Employee Relations role.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

 

                                     KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Enforce workplace policies related to employee relations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with labor unions and employee representatives.
  • Represent the company in discussions with unions and government agencies.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
  • Provide advice on employment contracts, policies, and workplace regulations.
  • Monitor workplace trends and recommend policy improvements.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage the day-to-day IR related aspects with discretion and professionalism.
