Purpose of Position:
To drive operational excellence across all Human Capital functions by translating the company’s people strategy into actionable, high-impact initiatives. The Human Capital Operations & Services Manager ensures the seamless delivery of end-to-end HC services — from talent acquisition, engagement, and development to performance, wellness, and employee relations — fostering a culture of care, productivity, and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or industrial psychology
- 6 Years’ experience in a Human Capital environment
- Valid drivers license
Key Responsibilities:
Human Capital Strategy & Budget – Provide input into the overall Human Capital Strategy for the company. Execute Human Capital programs aligned to the HC Strategy of the Company and provide input into the annual HC budget and monitor all HC related costs in line with budget throughout the financial year.
Talent Management & Development - Implement effective recruitment and selection strategies to ensure the company has suitable talent that operates productively and effectively. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job postings to onboarding. Manage the development initiatives of Talent Pool candidates as identified on their Development Plans.
Employee Engagement & Culture - Implement Employee Engagement programs aligned to the O&L Group Culture and Persona to achieve the overall Employer of Choice vision. Promote internal employee communication.
Organisational Design & Workforce planning – Maintain accurate position data and organograms in HRIS to ensure the company has made provision for all required positions to execute the Organisational Strategy. Manage the talent capability to ensure a pipeline filled with talent for these positions.
Employee Relations - Handle all employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and grievances. Responsible for the annual Affirmative Action Report and AA initiatives. Assist the HC Manager with Wage Negotiations, Conciliation, and Arbitration cases. Maintain compliance to Labour Act regulations and Company ER policies and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits – Implement and adhere to the O&L Group Remuneration Policy and Procedure within the company.
Training & Development – Identify training needs and coordinate initiatives identified on employee’s development programs. Continuously develop and train employees to equip them with the relevant competencies required for current and future roles.
Employee Health & Wellness - Implement and monitor compliance to the Employee Health & Wellness policies and procedures.
Performance Management - Manage the Performance Management cycle in the Performance Management System. Provide first line support to Line Managers and Employees to management Performance in the PM System.
Human Capital Data & Analytics – Collect and analyse HR data for decision making and prepare Human Capital reports for Human Capital manager to influence decision making.
Leadership - Responsible for the performance, discipline, development, and coaching of direct reports.
