PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To control the overall operation of the Hot Pot department by producing fresh and quality products, maintain hygiene and food safety standards and promote excellent customer service in order to achieve profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- National Senior Level Certificate / Grade 12 Certificate.
- 3 years’ experience in a Hot Pot department, with exposure to some Supervisory responsibilities.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Prior Supervisory experience.
- Certificate in Basic Cookery/ Food Preparation/ Hospitality/ Catering.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Utilize the available resources effectively to attain monthly budgeted turnover results for the department.
- Drive sales to achieve the department’s contribution to the overall budget.
- Control the overall quality of products and expired stock.
- Submit orders to the Manager and receive stock on time.
- Maintain range availability through effective customer analysis trends as well as proper planning.
- Implement, apply and monitor QDVP4 standards within the whole department.
- Prepare customers’ orders timeously.
- Accountable for the production schedules and determine volumes required.
- Maintain Housekeeping and Health and Safety standards.
