Purpose of Position:
The Resourcing Coordinator is responsible for all functions related to recruitment & selection of temporary personnel; to ensure that employees are properly enrolled and informed about benefits and policies.
Qualifications/Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 and a Diploma in Human Resource Management
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in project and high-volume recruitment environment
- MS Office Proficient
- Extensive knowledge of the Labour Act
- SAP experience will be an added advantage
Key Accountabilities:
Coordinate the sourcing, selecting, recruiting and placement of personnel
- Inform the Labour office on employment requirements and appointments;
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, media, employee referrals;
- Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills;
- Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities for consideration;
- Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or eligibility according to established certifications and designated licensing codes;
- Conduct reference and background checks on applicants;
- Hire applicants and ensure that all paperwork are authorized and signed by relevant stakeholders;
- Enrol all employees on the HRIS platform;
- Plan, organize and communicate the induction process to all new employees;
- Inform and introduce all relevant stakeholders of new employees;
- Keep recruitment process within deadlines to increase internal customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with managers, project leaders, and operational teams, ensuring everyone knows what resources are available
Human Resources Administration
- Prepare employment contracts (Permanent) and all staff movement documents, i.e. Promotions, Transfers and Terminations, gather and submit all relevant documentations for appointment approvals
- Submit all relevant payroll documentation necessary for payroll input on a daily basis;
- Ensure that Occupational Health Tests (Medix) for employees are scheduled according to process and that when done, record thereof is kept
- Coordinate the Termination Processes and draw conclusions from Supervisors recommendations and inform relevant stakeholders accordingly;
- Keep record of all recruitment documentation for internal and external reference.
- Write letters of Confirmation of Employment
- Assist the designated HR Business Partner with regards to all office and/ or administration work.
- Human Capital Department Filling
Monthly HR reports
- Prepare monthly reports in area of responsibility for management information purposes
Maintain HR information systems
- Maintain and update electronic database systems with employee’s skills and re-employment suitability
