PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Assist with task in the cold store, such as the receiving of goods, collection of goods, loading and delivery of goods, housekeeping and to ensure the smooth running of operations in the department

QUALIFICATION(S) AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•    Grade 12 
•    1 Year experience in cold store or similar environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist with loading according to the order from the Cold Store Supervisor/SAP order
•    Check that the container is clean and visually in good order before loading
•    Load products in containers and trucks according to loading configuration/requirements
•    Labelling of products as per product specifications
•    Adhere to FIFO principles during loading
•    Adhere to all HACCP requirements during loading process to ensure cold chain is maintained
•    Assist with the investigation if discrepancies are found during stock count
•    Assist with the cleaning/housekeeping and removal of ice from the cold room
