PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods. The role operates within defined processes and frameworks, providing operational support and coordination between the Sales and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

QUALIFICATION(S) AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•    Diploma in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
•    3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
•    Exposure to exports and imports processes and documentation
•    SAP proficiency will be an added advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities, including shipments, freight and transportation.
•    Convert confirmed sales orders into logistics execution activities and ensure delivery requirements are met.
•    Coordinate planning and documentation between Sales, Production, Quality and Logistics to support timely export execution.
•    Monitor shipments and maintain accurate logistics, tracking and delivery records.
•    Identify and proactively resolve logistics issues, delays, documentation errors and booking challenges.
•    Communicate delivery timelines, constraints, risks and alternative solutions to relevant stakeholders.
•    Act as the operational link between Sales and Logistics, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
•    Lead logistics planning meetings and proactively engage stakeholders to resolve issues and bottlenecks.
•    Monitor local and international logistics trends, regulations and legislation, identifying potential risks and opportunities and providing relevant insights to the Sales Manager
