PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Do mechanical repairs and maintenance work on Factory Machinery and Equipment

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 with a pass mark in Mathermiatcs and Science 
• 2 years Exeperience in maintenance Environment 
• Millwright Level 3 Certificate added advantage 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct scheduled-, preventative- and breakdown maintenance on all factory machinery including Main factory, Nienstedt and sorting areas
• Size product changes according to production requirement on all factory equipment such as Baader machines, Cartons sealers and Skinning machines.
• Replace bearings and motors and gearboxes
• Conduct overall maintenance on conveyors, plant and machinery.
• Keep down time of machinery as low as possible.
• Complete Job cards and Inspections and record Man Hours where required
• Complete downtime sheets on paper as well as electronically.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Check that the working area is clean and safe.
