PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Procure materials and services and manage inventories for the Company’s use at the maximum end-use value per Namibian dollar spent and at the lowest total acquisition cost using the internal control procedures and standards by maximizing the use and effectiveness of the SAP Material Management Module. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•    Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management.
•    3-5 years’ experience in Procurement Practices and Procedures. 
•    Proficiency in SAP R3 (Materials Management Module) is a distinct advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•    Processes requests for quotations/proposals for department purchases, researching, evaluating and making appropriate selection of commodity or service classification from vendor master list, or suggest a new vendor.
•    Analyze and evaluate Purchase Requisition (PR) to ensure purchases meet requirements of HSF.
•    Create Purchase order (PO) on SAP
•    Forward Purchase order to supplier upon relevant signatories released Purchase Order on SAP.
•    Obtain weekly Open Order Report from Procurement Superintendent and follow up open orders with suppliers and make sure all orders are executed.
•    Obtain invoices and reconcile on SAP.
•    Conduct all checks on Vendor Ownership Registration Certificates, banking details to ensure compliance and ‘no conflict of interest.’
•    Engage and assist personal at all levels on appropriate purchasing procedures and contract information.
•    Monitor vendors performance to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions. Takes necessary steps to resolve performance issues.
