PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Join our team as a Procurement Officer and play a key role in driving cost-effective sourcing and inventory management. We’re looking for an energetic professional to procure quality materials and manage technical stock, ensuring the best value. Position requires to minimize acquisition costs while upholding internal controls and standards, making full use of the SAP Materials Management Module to streamline processes and deliver maximum efficiency. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•    Diploma/Degree in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management or related fields.
•    3 years’ experience in Procurement Practices and Procedures. 
•    Proficiency in SAP R3 (Materials Management Module) is a distinct advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•    Source and procure technical materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements and specifications.
•    Manage technical inventories, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely availability for operations.
•    Conduct market research to identify reliable vendors and assess alternative products or solutions.
•    Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, standards, and relevant regulations.
•    Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues promptly.
•    Collaborate with technical teams to understand material specifications and operational needs.
