PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

Join our team as a Procurement Officer and play a key role in driving cost-effective sourcing and inventory management. We’re looking for an energetic professional to procure quality materials and manage technical stock, ensuring the best value . Position requires to minimize acquisition costs while upholding internal controls and standards, making full use of the SAP Materials Management Module to streamline processes and deliver maximum efficiency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • Diploma / Degree in Materials Management or Logistics Management .
  • 3 years’ experience in Procurement practices and procedures
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 (Materials Management Module) is a distinct advantage

 

 

 

        KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Source and procure technical materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements and specifications.
  • Manage technical inventories, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely availability for operations.
  • Conduct market research to identify reliable vendors and assess alternative products or solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand material specifications and operational needs.
