Purpose of position
Monitoring operations of all water processing systems in the Utility department.

Qualifications and Experience

•Certificate/advanced course in Water or Wastewater plant
•3-5 years’ practical experience in operating a water care plant

Key Responsibilities

• Test water, seawater plant and desalination plant for chlorine and NTU as per schedule
• Test seawater’s PH Levels
• Record daily data per data sheet and check for abnormal metered units and act on any abnormalities immediately.
• Oversee control panels and instrumentations to check whether all equipment is functioning properly under operation
• Inspect and report alarms to the Supervisor
• Conduct first line maintenance
• Conduct first line breakdown assistance
• Assist Artisan and Water plant Supervisor in carrying out repairs during maintenance and breakdown
