About the Role

 

Mach 10 is seeking an Application Technical Lead to join our DCS team — a dynamic environment where technology meets purpose. In this key leadership role, you will provide technical direction, mentorship, and innovation across hybrid infrastructure environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • 7+ years in systems administration, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in Windows Server (2016–2025), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP.
  • Experience with Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
  • Cloud Platforms: IaaS, backup, and security.
  • High-availability solutions (failover clustering, load balancing).
  • Backup/DR: Veeam, Rubrik, or equivalent.
  • Foundational networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, TCP/IP).

  • Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA Server+
  • Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
  • VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization
  • Preferred Certifications: Azure AI Engineer | Azure Solutions Architect | Veeam Architect | CCNP Data Centre | Automation-related qualifications

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead technical excellence as the Level 4 escalation point for critical incidents and complex system issues across Windows/Linux, cloud, and virtualization platforms.
  • Design, implement, and optimize managed service solutions, including security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and introduce preventive actions to enhance system stability.
  • Mentor and upskill engineers in the DCS Department, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and ensuring service excellence in alignment with SLAs.
  • Collaborate across teams (Sales, Projects, Engineering) to drive continuous improvement in client solutions.
