PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To build and grow the Model brand and its sub-brands (Model Foods, Model Liquor, Mooove, bakery brands, private label, etc.), ensuring that the customer experience consistently reflects the brand promise across all touchpoints to maximise profitability in line with O&L Persona.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 6 years of proven experience in brand management, ideally within the hospitality sector and with additional exposure to retail environments.
- In-depth understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, and customer experience management.
- Strong knowledge of brand strategy development and effective implementation of the full marketing mix.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong competency in digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics technologies.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Strong ability to interpret and apply consumer insights to guide brand and marketing strategy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing channels and advertising platforms, including their strategic application for brand growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and refine Model Retail’s brand positioning, value proposition, and brand promise.
- Translate group brand principles into retail-specific strategies and manage overall brand architecture.
- Lead digital marketing strategies to strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
- Serve as the brand custodian across all retail touchpoints.
- Ensure strict CI compliance across stores, digital, packaging, and communication.
- Approve brand applications and work closely with Brand X and Group for alignment.
- Define and drive a consistent end-to-end retail brand experience.
- Partner with Operations, Merchandising, and Trade Marketing to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Lead the direction and frameworks for national campaigns.
- Ensure messaging consistency across ATL, BTL, digital, and in-store channels.
- Identify key brand opportunities and guide communication strategies accordingly.
- Own the strategy for Model private label brands, including tiering and packaging alignment.
- Collaborate with Commercial, QA, and Packaging teams to ensure consistent delivery.
- Align all brand decisions with group brand strategy.
- Manage SLA requirements and participate in brand forums and approval processes.
- Set criteria for CSR and sponsorship initiatives and ensure brand-aligned approvals.
- Monitor brand health metrics and track brand equity over time.
- Use insights to refine and improve brand strategies.
- Lead, coach, and manage the performance of direct reports.
- Drive GPTW initiatives and ensure compliance with ER/IR policies.
- Safeguard confidential information and uphold company standards.
- Support operational needs and participate in required meetings, training, and ad‑hoc tasks.
