PURPOSE OF POSITION

 

Manage and maintain the O&L Group Applications by performing Analysis, Development and Administration. Engaging with business units, functional support and service providers; Researching and implementing technological solutions to improve Application efficiency; Maintaining application governance as per guidance from various stakeholders.
Identify learning gaps and develop interactive learning content and training material for O&L Group Applications and provide training to O&L Group’s users.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • A 3-year B Tech or BSc degree in Information Technology. 
  • 1 year experience in information systems support or development environment.
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online
  • User Training & Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively providing pragmatic, solutions focused advice.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Maintain “Select” Business & Office Applications

  • Ensure best business value by developing, administrating and supporting the assigned Microsoft Business & Office applications; (SharePoint Online).
  • Ensure that frequent User and access management is completed on supported Applications
  • Engage with internal and external service providers for technical support as and when required.
  • Research and implement technological innovations to ensure maximum value is achieved from SharePoint.
  • Maintain governance by following IT policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and provide adequate End user training on SharePoint.
  • Analyse current business processes, workflows, and procedures to provide value with the SharePoint.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development of application roadmaps, aligning them with business goals and objectives.

 

Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Analyse current business process, workflows, and procedures to improve areas.
  • Research and implement technological innovations to ensure maximum value is achieved with the Power Platform
  • Design, develop and maintain automated processes, workflows and procedures using Microsoft Power Platform ( Power Automate, PowerApps)
  • Collaborating with System administrators, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of automated solutions.
  • Maintain governance by following IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide and ensure End user training.

 

Third-party business application Support (DocIT, Minute Tool, etc)

  • Assist the Business in ensuring best business value by administrating and supporting the assigned third-party business applications.
  • Engage with internal and external service providers for technical support as and when required.
  • Research and implement technological innovations to ensure maximum value is achieved with the Application infrastructure.
  • Maintain governance by following IT policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that frequent User and access management is completed on supported Business Applications
  • Prepare and provide adequate End user training on Business Systems.

 

User Training

  • Develop training courses and material that will assist user to gain the required knowledge to efficiently make use of the different Business Applications.
  • Configure content on LMS by creating SCORM packages ensuring proper functionality and availability according to intake schedule.
  • Coordinate learner enrolments, monitor course progress, support learners with technical or access issues, and generate progress and completion reports to support academic and compliance requirements
  • Training should be provided in-person, online and via the O&L Group learning management systems (LMS)
  • Engage with process and policy owners to ensure that up-to-date information is presented to the users.
  • Determine IT/IS training needs of the O&L Group.
  • Measure effectiveness and impact of training.
