PURPOSE OF POSITION

Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new renewable energy and energy storage opportunities across Namibia and the SADC region. The role is responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, developing strategic customer and partner relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term commercial agreements that support the company's growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, sales, key account management, or commercial roles, preferably within the renewable energy, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of originating opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving business growth targets.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and market development strategies.
• Experience engaging with senior decision-makers, commercial and industrial customers, and strategic partners.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in the renewable energy and energy storage market.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective customers, off-takers, and strategic partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, industry partners, and decision-makers.
• Develop and execute sales and market development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Present commercial renewable energy solutions and negotiate agreements that create long-term value for customers and the business.
