PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

Washing crates with brush and scrub, packing, sort dirty and damaged crates, issue clean crates to production based on the production plan requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

•    Grade 12 certificate
•    1 year relevant Warehouse experience

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

•    Receive crates from all depots  
•    Sort damaged crates from usable crates 
•    Scrub dirty crates manually with brush and cleaning detergent 
•    Supply usable crates to production through the washing machine as per production plan
•    Count crates and record figures of dirty and damaged on crate count sheet. 
•    Submit crate count sheet to Team Leader Empties Yard. 
•    Clean Washing machine and washing area daily 
•    Remove nozzles of washing and clean the pipes thoroughly 
•    Ensuring PPE is worn when washing crates
