PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

To accelerate sustainable export growth across Southern Africa by developing profitable routes to market, managing distributor partnerships, and ensuring full compliance with sanitary, veterinary, regulatory, and cold-chain requirements for dairy products, processed meat and lamb products.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in export sales within FMCG, preferably dairy and/or chilled/frozen meat.
• Strong understanding of SADC/SACU trade frameworks and export documentation requirements.

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

• Drive export revenue and volume growth across SADC markets.
• Develop and execute market entry strategies, pricing corridors, and annual export plans.

• Serve as the primary interface between the company and export partners.
• Influence trading partners to align with company commercial objectives.
• Drive and implement Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies in collaboration with the Commercial Team.
• Manage credit exposure in collaboration with Finance and Credit Management.
• Provide accurate demand forecasts aligned with SLA agreements.
• Coordinate packaging requirements and innovation roll-outs for export markets.
• Ensure full compliance with SADC/SACU trade regulations and country-specific requirements.
• Secure and manage veterinary certificates, health certificates, import permits, and product registrations.
• Oversee accurate export documentation (commercial invoices, HS codes, temperature logs, insurance documentation).
• Ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, and Halal standards where applicable.
