PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

To operate forklift, loading and offloading of stock on trucks and stock up the backup crate cage with crates for production, in line with production plans.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

•    Grade 12 certificate
•    1 year forklift driving experience
•    Valid Forklift license

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

•    Operate forklift as per departmental requirements and perform daily inspections according to the forklift checklist. 
•    Report forklift accidents or stock damages to Warehouse Supervisor immediately
•    Neatly sort and pack stock in the Warehouse in accordance to FIFO principle 
•    Perform housekeeping in area of responsibility 
•    Maintain high safety standards by adhering to company Health & Safety policy 
•    Ensure you wear reflector, hard hat and fasten seatbelt when operating forklift in line with Health and Safety procedures. 
•    Maintain personal hygiene, health & safety
