PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To contribute and grow the Fresh Meat Sales, market share and expenditure objectives. Furthermore, maintain customer satisfaction for Fresh Meat Sales.

 

KEY JOB OUTPUTS:

  • Implement and manage and execute the Fresh meat strategy in line with operational and strategic goals and objectives of HL for Fresh Meat.
  • Represent the Fresh Meat Sales department at HL Operational meetings.
  •  Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing Fresh Meat customers, ensuring they always receive the best customer service and highest quality products.
  • Obtaining new customers for Fresh Meat as well as Frozen line opportunities.
  • Act as the support and liaison between Fresh Meat Sales, Logistics, and Production.
  •  Identify all relevant interventions required to improve Fresh Meat sales and exceptional customer service.
  • Work with and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer demands are met and product offerings are marketed.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and product demand.
  • Prepare accurate weekly/monthly/annual Fresh Meat sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide a monthly sales analysis summary and recommendation to General Manager Sales.
  • Manage the department to ensure monthly / annual Fresh Meat sales targets are achieved.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Fresh Meat sales team in line with the O&L Persona while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • 3 Year Diploma/Degree in Sales/Marketing
  • 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in Sales.
