PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

To provide operational HC support across recruitment, onboarding, payroll, training, employee engagement, and compliance. The role ensures accurate execution of HC processes and supports the HC Manager in delivering efficient, people-focused services.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR administrative experience.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and payroll systems is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Namibian labor legislation, NTA processes, and employment equity compliance.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding via SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Facilitate induction programs and maintain recruitment records.

Payroll Administration

  • Prepare and submit payroll inputs (appointments, terminations, adjustments).
  • Draft contract addendums and manage exit interviews.
  • Coordinate Long Service Awards and internal announcements.

Training & Development

  • Support Training Needs Analysis and training budget planning.
  • Coordinate training logistics and NTA claims.
  • Track study assistance and guide PDPs and performance assessments.

Job Profiles & Structures

  • Guide job profile development and updates with line managers.
  • Support and advise on Performance Management process.

Employee Engagement (as required)

  • Act as EE connector and coordinate Persona champion nominations, Persona forums, and support Employee Engagement initiates.

Affirmative Action & AACC (as required)

  • Compile EE stats, support AA reporting, and coordinate AACC meetings.

MTC Account Administration

  • Manage contracts, migrations, renewals, and device setups.
  • Handle invoice processing and credit allocations.

Reporting & General Admin

  • Generate HR reports, manage work permits, and support GPTW initiatives.

Customer Service

  • Deliver excellent internal and external HR support.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
