Purpose of the Position
Responsible for partnering with designated business units to align business objectives with effective and people-centered Human Capital practices that support operational excellence, employee engagement, compliance and business success. The role requires a commercially minded HR professional who can build strong stakeholder relationships, understand operational and workforce realities within a manufacturing environment and deliver practical, compliant and innovative Human Capital solutions aligned to Hartlief’s current and future objectives in line with the O&L Persona.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years relevant Human Capital / HR Generalist experience.
- Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment will serve as a distinct advantage.
- Working knowledge of HR Information Systems and payroll systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
- Sound knowledge of Namibian Labour legislation, employment equity and NTA processes.
- Valid Code B Driver’s License.
Key Accountabilities
- Business Partnering & Employee Support: Partner with line management to provide operational Human Capital support that drives performance, engagement and workforce effectiveness.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage and coordinate effective recruitment, selection, onboarding and talent retention processes.
- Payroll & Human Capital Administration: Ensure accurate payroll administration and efficient management of employee documentation and Human Capital records.
- Training & Development: Coordinate learning and development initiatives, training administration and performance development processes.
- Compliance, Reporting & Governance: Ensure compliance with labour legislation, policies, reporting requirements and Human Capital governance standards.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Drive employee engagement, culture-building and organisational initiatives that promote the O&L Persona and employee experience.
