Key Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Industrial Psychology/Human Resources Management/Organisational Development.
- 3 years of experience in a generalised Human Resources environment.
- Proficiency in Recruitment and Selection, Employee Engagement, HR Business Partnering, and People Development.
- Preferred: Extensive HR experience in the food retail (supermarket) sector.
- Key Job Outputs:
- Recruitment, Selection, and Placement:
- Collect and analyze personnel requisition forms.
- Update store structures for accuracy.
- Design and review Job Profiles.
- Advertise positions and manage the Successfactors Recruitment.
- Conduct interviews and perform reference checks.
- Prepare employment contracts and relevant documentation.
- Maintain recruitment documentation and provide status reports.
- Induction:
- Design and communicate induction programs.
- Introduce new employees to the team.
- Discuss HR policies with new hires.
- Training & Development:
- Communicate HC initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and communicate training needs.
- Conduct HR Roadshows and Employee Engagement sessions.
- Track and report trends in employee behaviors and engagement.
- Productivity Management:
- Update store staff schedules regularly.
- Assist branches with scheduling for efficiency.
- Analyze and approve working hours, reporting on weekly man-hours.
- Employee Wellness:
- Draft letters for employee referrals to doctors.
- Liaise with doctors and refer employees to wellness services.
- Store Visits:
- Visit designated stores regularly, participating in open forums.
- Compile store visit reports.
Guidelines and Equipment:
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilization of HR Systems (SuccessFactors & Jarrison)
- Knowledge of statutory legislation, including the Labour Act.
