PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To assist in executing brand strategies and marketing initiatives to strengthen brand equity and drive business growth. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the brand is consistently executed and effectively communicate our brands value proposition and brand essence to our target audience and potential consumers.
KEY JOB OUTPUTS:
- Assist in executing brand strategies and campaigns in alignment with the overall business objectives and Marketing plan. (Budgets, Volume targets, Brand Awareness, Brand Adoption)
- Demand Planning
- Preparation & Evaluation of Marketing Activities
- Prepare for approval all key marketing activities considering costs, benefits, and all other commercial aspects.
- Review all marketing activities in terms of cost, benefit and effectiveness and report to Superior for corrective action if need be.
- Understand consumer research and be a consumer champion for the business.
- Analyze price survey research in line with agreed Brand plans and marketing strategy.
- Translate learnings into recommendations to assist with annual Brand plans and marketing strategy.
- Identify opportunities in the market by analyzing sales volumes per brand to recommend possible new innovations or change in strategy.
- Identifies key consumer and brand issues and recommend optimal opportunity area(s) for brands to grow.
- Assist in developing annual brand plan based on consumer insights, competitive landscape, EBIT targets and volume objectives.
- Collaborate with the agency during weekly status meetings to align objectives and deliverables and update status report.
- Assist with and execute approved Brand Plans.
- Assist with the execution of the annual advertising and promotions plan for respective brands.
- Overseeing the implementation of the corporate identity (CI) within all external and internal communication and publications, ensuring that they meet the company's standards.
- Execute assigned tasks/projects to ensure brand equity.
- Run and coordinate all National Consumer Promotions (NCPs) as per approved campaign plans.
- Assist with and execute all innovation projects in co-operation with the relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain assets (POS, promotional items, banners etc.)
• Maintain annual brand budgets for all accountable cost centres by ensuring that all expenses are within allocated and agreed budgets.
- Monitor and report on monthly cost centre variances. Effectively build, manage, and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders including but not limited to creative agencies, Company and Group stakeholders, and promotional companies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Degree in Marketing or similar qualification with 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
- Code B Driver’s
