PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To provide financial business partnership support to management by providing timely and accurate information in order to add value to the organization. Furthermore, to provide leadership to the Management Accounting function within Hartlief.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• B degree in Management Accounting or Financial Accounting with 1-2 years’ relevant management accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Management accounting experience in a manufacturing company will be an added advantage.
• Enrolled for CIMA qualification.

KEY JOB OUTPUTS:

• Prepare monthly COGS reports as input to the final management accounting pack
• Present monthly production results to management.
• Ensure the timely and correct provision of information to external stakeholders, i.e NSA and NSI.
• Ensure accuracy of product profitability analysis.
• Compile and distribute brand profitability reports.
• Analyze and report on all major discrepancies.
• Assist in developing reports to identify trends & patterns in the industry.
• Develop user friendly reports to measure and monitor critical KPIs.
• Provide financial input to analyze profitability.
• Give input to policies, procedures and systems to develop best practices in the business.
• Create & change master data records on all systems in the Group.
• Ensure BOMs are correctly maintained on SAP.
• Execute month-end procedures timely and accurately within agreed timelines.
• Perform impact assessments on pricing and sales volume fluctuations on profitability.
• Prepare information for management for decision making.
• Assist with monthly stock-takes.
