About the Role

 

Mach 10 (Pty) Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as a Logistics Clerk. The successful candidate will form part of the Administration & Finance Department and will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient coordination of logistics and supply chain processes within the company.

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a logistics, procurement, or administrative support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Basic understanding of financial and inventory systems will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualification

 

Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Office Administration.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and track all incoming and outgoing shipments, deliveries, and collections.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping, delivery, and inventory documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Support the procurement process by assisting with order placement, follow-ups, and confirmations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and goods movements.
  • Ensure all logistics documentation complies with internal financial and audit requirements.
  • Update and maintain data on the company’s logistics and accounting systems.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations.
