PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
We are seeking a capable and proactive Maintenance & Facilities Coordinator to lead and manage our maintenance service line. This role combines strategic coordination, technical knowledge and oversight, and operational delivery, including preventative maintenance, infrared scanning, reporting, and onboarding of new business clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field
- 5 years or more proven experience in operations, maintenance and facilities management
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and compliance regulations
- Computer literate (MS Office & Systems)
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Plan, schedule, and monitor preventative maintenance across all group sites, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Ensure that clients receive timely reminders for upcoming preventative maintenance and are issued with accurate quotations for required work.
- Coordinate internal teams and dispatch contractors for specialised or overflow work where needed.
- Ensure all maintenance work is optimally executed, meeting quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Manage and close out job cards, maintaining up-to-date records and tracking maintenance history.
- Oversee the delivery and scheduling of infrared scanning services, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up.
- Act as a point of contact for new business clients, assisting with onboarding, assessments, and integration into the maintenance program.
- Maintain asset registers and ensure all activities adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Prepare and submit operational reports, performance dashboards, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Planned site inspections/audits on processes implemented.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory obligations.
