PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

To maintain and repair all electronic, electrical and mechanical plant equipment for packaging.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

•    Grade 12 
•    National Trade Certificate (Electrician or Millwright)
•    Minimum 5 years’ work experience as a Maintenance Artisan
•    Code B Driver’s Licence

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

•    Weekly job card provided by SAP must be checked by Artisan and signed by Team Leader
•    Report on unforeseen incidents/breakdown on job card – SAP PM
•    Complete Tetra checklist on a machine on an hourly basis.
•    Maintain line efficiencies on ND engineering  Server
•    Complete a 5Y form after every breakdown on any machinery
•    Update all manuals on tetra pak and filmatic machines
•    Ensure that all equipment/parts is available when performing  a scheduled service on packaging machinery
•    Work closely with Local Suppliers in regard with ordering of spare parts
•    Submit a report on all equipment and machinery that is in safe working conditions (Health and safety documents )
