PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:    

 

Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from initial market research and benchmarking against competition, to ideation and testing, and launching within properties and the broader market; ultimately ensuring that that Leisure builds the right product for our guests. In close collaboration with agency, external suppliers, and with a strong focus on guests needs, ensure that all marketing product development initiatives align with and enhance the Leisure brand and remains relevant in a competitive market.

                                                                                                   

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or hospitality marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in market research and analysis, as well as overseeing product development during the design and marketing phases.
  • Strong project management skills and a solid understanding of design principles.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to manage product development and design within a marketing department.
  • A good understanding of hospitality market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in developing go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and conducting customer insights analysis.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Implement marketing strategies aligned with O&L Leisure’s products and services.
  • Manage and enhance the product portfolio to drive guest engagement and revenue.
  • Oversee product design and define unique selling propositions (USPs).
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer and competitor data to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate on the design and launch of new products.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and support product positioning with the Brand Strategy Manager.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality product design.
