PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To own, lead, direct and implement the organisational breakthrough strategy and operational plan for all O&L Leisure hotels and lodges including the execution, evaluation and controlling of such plans, contributing to the unique, unforgettable guest experiences. The position will oversee the operational management of all O&L property hotels and lodges as well as central office functions linked to operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Postgraduate qualification in Hospitality Management.
- 10+ years’ senior management experience in 4–5 star properties, including 2 years at executive level.
- Proven operational senior leadership across at least five properties.
- Strong track record in developing managerial talent; international experience is advantageous.
- Proven record of developing and leading strong organizational culture strategies which align with the O&L Persona.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and execute operational strategy aligned with group vision, driving efficiency, profitability, and achievement of performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, guest experience expectations, and all risk, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Oversee and support new projects operationally while maintaining robust and up-to-date business continuity plans.
- Drive financial performance through strategic initiatives, operational efficiencies, and effective resource management.
- Develop leadership capability, align employee performance with organisational goals, and actively champion a strong, cohesive organisational culture.
