PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that all production orders are being entered correctly into the system and to ensure efficient continuous movement of finished products and raw meat in line with the Hartlief production plans and targets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
- Grade 12 with pass marks in Mathematics and Science.
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar position within FMCG environment.
KEY JOB OUTPUTS:
- Assist with the receiving and issuing process of stock daily on operating System.
- Responsible for correct input of raw materials, packaging etc. as per BOM.
- Manage all daily produced products and record on system with order number and submit to Stock & Process supervisors
- Use of raw materials and consumables in a way to minimize losses and reach production plan.
- Provide support in maintaining the correct stock levels of raw materials and consumables in production.
- Communicate any shortages/ out of stock raw and packaging material immediately to responsible line manager.
- Record all stock losses with regards to issued versus actual production and submit to Stock & Process supervisors daily (if any).
- Immediately report deviations from processes and takes corrective actions if possible.
- Capture and manage process flow of reworks accurately on the system.
- Responsible for receiving and issuing of all stock into/out of assigned coolers.
- Handle products with caution to avoid damaging of stock and minimize stock losses.
- Monitor and inspect the proper/safe storage of all raw materials and processes products and action accordingly.
- Participate in monthly, weekly and daily stock counts of assigned coolers
- Daily stock rotation of the assigned coolers
- Always apply FIFO to assigned coolers
- Keep work areas clean and organized according to “clean as you go” principles and perform regular safety inspections
- Handle all products safely, maintain proper airflow and storage, and adhere to Good Manufacturing, Hygiene, and Health & Safety practices.
- Report deviations, shortages, and quality issues promptly to the Supervisor or Team Leader.
