PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To receive and dispatch stock to and from suppliers as per the set receiving procedures and facilitate the activities of the receiving and warehouse department to provide support to the store operations through the stock availability function.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• National Senior Level Certificate.
• At least 4 years’ retail experience of which, 1 year should be in a receiving environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Control the overall receiving operations.
• Check and receive the correct stock as ordered.
• Maintain back door receiving standards and disciplines.
• Attend and resolve all queries pertaining to the receiving area.
• Oversee that the warehouse is tidy and that overall warehouse operations are adhered to.
• Oversee the functions and work delivery of all reporting staff in receiving.
