PURPOSE OF THE POSITION  

 

The Leasing Agent will play an essential role in driving occupancy and revenue growth across our diverse portfolio of retail, office, and industrial properties. This position is responsible for identifying leasing opportunities, negotiating lease terms, and cultivating long-term tenant relationships that enhance asset value and contribute to the strategic success of our commercial real estate holdings.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

  • 5 years’ minimum experience in commercial leasing, with a solid track record across retail, office, and industrial sectors
  • A Namibia Estate Agents Board (NEAB) certification is essential
  • Computer literate (MS Office package)
  • Proven experience negotiating with national tenants in the retail space
  • Strong understanding of lease structures, market dynamics, zoning, and tenant mix strategies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Execute leasing strategies across retail, office, and industrial portfolio.
  • Maximize rental income through strategically leading national tenant lease negotiations and renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive occupancy rates through proactive marketing, leasing initiatives and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote available spaces and attract prospects.
  • Prepare leasing proposals, lease documentation, and reports in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Monitor retail trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform leasing strategy.
  • Provide insights to optimize tenant mix and enhance mall foot traffic.
  • Work closely with property management, finance, and operations teams to support tenant onboarding and service delivery.
