Purpose of the Role

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing Mach10’s sales strategy. This includes overseeing a team of 6–10 Client Managers and Sales Support Administrators. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving business growth targets, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring alignment of sales initiatives with the company’s overall commercial goals.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (essential).
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT or technology sales, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and driving growth in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise solutions, managed services, and cloud offerings.
  • Experience using CRM and sales performance tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, MS Dynamics).

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & People Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and support career development.
    • Encourage collaboration between sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and exceed revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities.
    • Maintain and grow existing client relationships while expanding into new market segments.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management
    • Act as a senior point of contact for key accounts and stakeholders.
    • Support the team with client negotiations, proposals, and solution development.
    • Ensure a high standard of customer service and after-sales support.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
    • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
    • Monitor team performance against sales targets and adjust strategies where necessary.
    • Oversee CRM system utilization for pipeline management and reporting accuracy.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage sales budgets and contribute to commercial planning.
