PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To drive sales activities, maximize business opportunities, and managing client relationship within the specific market segment. Responsible for promoting the group's properties, services, and amenities to potential clients while nurturing existing relationships to maximize revenue
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration/Management or Hospitality Management
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development in the hospitality industry, preferably within STO, Corporate, or Government markets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management software (salesforce).
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in MS Office advanced level
- Driver's license
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Drive new business by identifying and pursuing leads across corporate, government, and state-owned sectors.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, using market research and data analysis.
- Build strong relationships with clients through sales calls, site visits, events, and digital engagement.
- Negotiate room rates, packages, and contracts with corporate clients to meet revenue and service goals.
- Respond to RFQs and create compelling proposals that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic planning and consistent performance tracking.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and pipeline progress.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to boost brand visibility and lead generation.
- Provide continuous client support, identify upselling opportunities, and recommend service improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and product updates to refine sales strategies.
