PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

The purpose of this position is to lead Ohlthaver & List Group’s digital transformation by shaping and executing the strategic vision for digital initiatives. You will drive the Digital Acceleration department’s functions, engage with stakeholders, and implement data- and consumer-centric digital solutions and processes. This role fosters a future-focused, collaborative ecosystem, leveraging the latest technologies to deliver impactful results.


 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

    A 4-year formal qualification in Business Process Management or a related field.
    A minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience in a corporate environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
    An additional Degree or Master’s qualification, along with over 5 years of relevant experience, would be an advantage.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Digital Acceleration Strategy Leadership
    Develop and implement a comprehensive digital acceleration strategy aligned with the organization's vision and mission. Support OPCO’s in crafting and executing their own digital strategies.
    Identify and prioritize digital initiatives that drive innovation and create value for stakeholders.
    Transform business requirements into actionable business models using relevant technology and collaborating with technology owners.
    Maintain system documentation and management reports.
    Manage projects by coordinating resources, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategy and requirements.
    Ensure service quality by establishing organizational standards, managing service providers, and facilitating OPCO meetings and forums.
    Oversee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manage contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
    Evaluate and measure the impact of digital strategies to ensure optimal business value and return on investment.
    Stay up to date with digital trends and advise stakeholders on new systems and platforms.
    Develop and implement ongoing capability-building programs to keep teams informed and engaged.
Stakeholder Engagement
    Create and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy focused on addressing their needs and preferences.
    Communicate regularly with senior stakeholders to provide updates on digital initiatives and gather feedback to enhance the transformation strategy.
    Use stakeholder feedback to adapt digital initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    Foster collaboration across OPCOs and cross-functional teams to co-create innovative solutions.
People Management & Leadership
    Lead and inspire the department by promoting O&L culture and operational excellence.
    Retain talent by recruiting, training, and developing employees, ensuring a safe and growth-oriented work environment.
    Cultivate a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and continuous learning.
    Drive results by setting clear expectations, leading departmental strategies, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to systems, policies, and procedures.
    Support personal and team development through professional growth, certifications, and leadership training.
    Facilitate effective communication within the department through regular meetings and updates.
Financial Budget Management
    Plan, control, and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
    Oversee project expenses, capital expenditure (Capex), and monitor project budgets.
    Evaluate and report on financial performance, ensuring proper management of service and license payments.
