PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  

To manage and control stock in the Cooler, by picking stock according to picking slip, performing stock takes and rotating stock according to FIFO in order to prevent stock losses within the Cooler.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Grade 12 and a minimum 2 years experience in a similar position

PREFFERED/ADVANTAGEOUS

• Previous experience in an FMCG and food manufacturing Industry

KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:

• Receive picking slip from Supervisor Cooler and work out number of crates required based on product quantity 
• Ensure that all stock is appropriately dated on count sheets and on the Warehouse floor.
• Pick stock (fastened on pallets) timeously according to picking slip and pack in cage for loading  
• Ensure that the products leave the Warehouse according to the client’s/factory shop’s requirements.
• Perform stock takes daily after loading trucks and complete stock count sheet 
• Perform monthly stock take and submit count sheet to Supervisor Cooler and Team leader Cooler 
• Rotate stock in the Cooler according to FIFO and cold chain principles 
• Follow up with Supervisor Cooler on out of stock and blocked products to be picked 
• Clean work area after shift in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards 
• Assist with Forklift Driving duties in the absence of the Forklift Driver 
• Assist with loading products from conveyer to pallets when required
