PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To draw up production plans in line with the demand and stock policies, taking into consideration all capacity constraints.
KEY JOB OUTPUTS:
- Collect and analyse forecast data from Export and Namibia
- Analyse current stock and forecasting information
- Analyse production capacity in Production, Slicing and Packaging, and Warehousing
- Assemble and analyse all data to create a proper Supply Network Plan in line with the inventory targets of all markets
- Actively participate to enhance market intelligence, information and trends
- Actively participate to analyse customer sales trends
- Analyse historical data and related trends
- Analyse and integrate all marketing and sales initiatives (i.e. new products, launches, promotions, etc.)
- Analyse, integrate and align sales and marketing cycles (low, medium and high peaks)
- Actively set up Supply Network Plan that will support current capacity
- Recommend plans to optimize capacity to maintain sufficient stock for all markets, with the lowest risk to the business.
- Import and export relevant stock data on a weekly basis
- Import sales data of the previous week/month
- Do weekly imports of gross requirements for all the markets
- Facilitate and update Hartlief production plan between Distribution, Slicing and Packaging and Production Department
- Ensure alignment between the Supply Chain Departments through regular meetings.
- Contribute actively within the Distribution Department on warehousing capacity with the assistants of the Forecast System
- Actively assist in the preparation of data required for the monthly consensus/S&OP meeting (Hartlief Internal), supply review meeting and weekly demand and capacity meetings (Internal and Export)
- Actively take part in meetings between Hartlief, Export(SA) and agency (ND, etc)
- Lead, coach and support team member, promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement and assist HR with initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and discipline.
- Assist with monthly/Weekly Production stock counts.
