PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Develop, implement and coordinate warehouse systems, facilities, and procedures to ensure the finished goods warehouse is well-equipped, organised and operating efficiently to meet Hartlief’s warehousing and transport requirements. The role works closely with factory, Namibia Dairies distribution and other teams to oversee all inventory, handling, storage and internal and export transport activities. This includes managing goods from arrival from the Factory to final dispatch, ensuring accuracy, quality, timely delivery, correct permits and full compliance with DVS and all regulatory requirements.
KEY JOB OUTPUTS:
• Align warehouse operations with the company’s logistics, distribution and export strategy.
• Implement efficient warehouse systems, SOPs and ERP tools (SAP/AbaServe).
• Oversee all warehouse functions, including storage, inventory control, dispatch and export preparation.
• Ensure full compliance with DVS requirements, export regulations, permits, safety and quality standards.
• Manage export documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents and transport providers.
• Coordinate stock handling, production, transport and distribution schedules with internal teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, order fulfilment, stock accuracy and overall warehouse performance.
• Use data and reporting tools to support decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement efficiency initiatives to reduce waste and optimise space, labour and equipment.
• Set and track KPIs; prepare operational and logistics reports.
• Lead the O&L Persona, train and motivate warehouse and dispatch employees, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and/ or Supply Chain Management
• 6 years’ experience in Warehousing and Logistics
• Minimum 2 years' experience at Supervisory Level
• Code B Driver’s license
• Experience in FMCG environment would be added advantage
